Here we go again ...
It's about 11:30pm Monday night and I just got off the phone with a Mesa Police Officer. The report of what we heard at 10:15pm is:
A U-Haul and a ''few'' personal vehicles were smashed and broken into behind our home (the back south side of the Midas Shop). We live on Obispo ?– almost at the SE corner of Guadalupe and our home backs up to all those shops on the corner.
The destruction stopped when our porch light went on and off-letting them know we heard them. We chose not to look over our wall to ID the car as we heard it pull away fearing...????????? The Policeman told me this was a very smart thing to do. Bummer- BUT at least they know we are home and listening!!
Hopefully this will add to the list of reasons to step up the patrolling in our area!
