Hi Everyone!!
Well, I have great news to share. A Fast-Track PRIDE GRANT in the amount of $300.00 was awarded to us - Mesa Marlborough - for our Easter Egg Hunt / Picnic.
I attended the PRIDE committee today, and am happy to share this news with all of you.
Now.. we have the money, we have had a few (very few) people contact me that want to help.
Now I am asking for YOUR HELP!! There will be a meeting this saturday (Feb 24th) at 1:00 PM at the park (cabana area) for any and all of you that are willing to help with this project.
I need adults and teenagers alike! Also.. I do need at least ONE adult who will take charge of this project - as there is a possibility that I will NOT be in town.
The tentative plans made so far consist of a picnic of hot dogs, chips, and drinks. We need eggs cooked and colored, and volunteers to hide them on the morning of the 14th. We need people to go out and buy the prizes for the egg hunt, and organizers for the hunt. We will also need someone to cook the hot dogs, and buy the food/drinks. Remember.. we HAVE THE MONEY FOR THIS - we just need the man/woman/kid power!!
