Cox progress

Posted in: Marlborough Mesa
Just a quick update on the first part of Cox's rebuild project...

We have completed nearly everything in the first permitted area. Before moving further east to the second phase, we have decided to complete some work in the road since you have a pending street resurfacing project. By completing this now, we won't need to go back and cut out new streets. The affected areas of this work are:

1015-1063 W. Peralta
3122-3138 S. Spruce
1007-1031 W. Posada

We will complete this street work starting Monday, February 12.

Additionally, we are planning to complete a street crossing project at Extension and Pampa. We expect to complete this next Tuesday.

The permits have us moving to the east of Extension for the next month or so. Then we will come back and work from Emerson to Alma School, which will complete the first phase of the project.

I haven't heard of too many complaints out there. Joel has been working hard to meet your needs/requests and so far, everything has gone very smooth.

Please don't hesitate to call me with any questions.

Thanks for the added information Dan. It was ''in addition'' to what went out in our newsletter.

Also thanks for moving up your schedule to accommodate our street resurfacing project.

Keeping all of us apprised of your work here has made it a much easier project for all of us as residents. And thanks too for keeping it as clean as you have.

I would like to echo Alma Jones comments, i.e., keeping all of us apprised of Cox progress indeed has made it a much easier project for all of us, the Marlborough residents. I've watched the men at work in front of my home and so far, no contact with ''Joel'' has been necessary. Thus, in my view, everything has gone very well, so far. More work is still required, however, so I'll wait and see.

Again, I would like to thank Dan Newham for keeping all of us updated from time to time.
