Cox Communications is preparing to expand our premiere communications services to provide the Marlborough Mesa community with access to new and exciting technology. Our cutting edge hybrid fiber optic/coaxial network will bring Cox Digital Cable, Cox Digital Telephone, and Cox@Home High-Speed Internet service right to your neighborhood. To offer this complete line of services we will need to upgrade the current cable infrastructure within your community.
Beginning January 8, 2001, there will be a lot of activity around the neighborhood as our qualified technicians work to bring you these services. This upgrade process involves placing new cable facilities along the front of homes in the easements. This will include extensive work under the edge of the road, under the sidewalks and in the areas of easement that many consider ?“front yards.?” Additionally, we will replacing outdated Network Reliability Units with new ones. When the initial phase of the upgrade process is finished, your community will be able to receive our expanded channel line-up, which will provide 15 new channels including plus Cox Digital Cable and the acclaimed Cox@Home high speed Internet service.
A meeting has been set up for 1:00 on January 4 in the park area of Marlborough Mesa (specific location unknown to Cox at this time. All are welcome and this an excellent time for those who have questions regarding this work to get some answers and meet the individuals supervising this project.
