We have had yet another car burglary last night. Billie on Emerson called
and her niece was parked on the street with a lot of ''things'' visible. The
burglary happened after midnight last night. They used a ''slim jim'' to
break in and took everything in the glove compartment and in the trunk as
well. Our burglaries were higher at the end of March than they were in
February.
Another ''attempted'' car burglary happened in the 3100 block of Spruce but
the thieves were not able to obtain entrance and no damage was done. This
one was very early in the morning a little more than a week ago and a
neighbor just happened to come out at the right time.
