I have a letter from the Architects confirming that purchase was made at the site of the vacated service station on the NE corner of Guad. and Alma School Rds. It reads:

This letter is in regards to the properties located at 2711 S. Alma School Road & 2743 S. Alma School Road. An application has been filed with the City of Mesa, Board of Adjustments, for a Substantial Conformance Improvement Permit (SCIP) to accommodate a new 14,820 SF Walgreen's Pharmacy on the property. A copy of the existing and proposed site plan is included with this letter. (I have it if anyone wishes to see it.)
The site is approx. 249,083 SF, located on the NEC of Alma School Road & Guadalupe Road. The site currently contains a vacated gas station, an auto repair shop, and retail shop that would be removed to accommodate the proposed project.
A public hearing will be held to consider the proposal, case no. PS03-173, on Tuesday June 8, 2004 at 4:00 pm. The meeting will be held at the lower level of the City Council Chambers at 57 E. First Street, Mesa, AZ.
This letter is being sent to you as part of the notification procedure. A copy of the plan is included for your review.
