Hi Marlborough Mesa Neighbors,
TWO opportunities:
1. Mars is still very close to Earth and very visible. Come and look thru our telescope ... have some drinks and snacks. Bring your children. This is the best ''up close and personal'' they can get in their LIFETIME to see Mars so close to Earth.
The gathering will take place on our front porch and driveway at:
1031 W. Posada Avenue
Tuesday, September 16, 2003
7:00-9:00 pm.
YOU are ALL invited - come and go as you like. Bring your friends ... ask your neighbors who may not have a computer.
2. Meet our Councilman/Vice Mayor Dennis Kavanaugh... ask your questions directly to him. He will be running for our District 3 Council seat again this year and needs our support.
Councilman Kavanaugh is a major force in all that we have been able to accomplish here in Marlborough Mesa. He is at ALL of our functions. Dennis brings to Marlborough Mesa the ''full resources of the city to assist us''. We ALWAYS have his support.
He has been behind the scenes so many times BEFORE our little park became a reality. Through a lot of hard work and perseverance, it is one of the few retention basins in Mesa that actually has a park in it.
Hope to see you there,
Jim and Alma Jones
