This is a note from Detective Spina that was at our meeting in November 2006:

''Just wanted to give you a 'heads up' reference a residential burglary, which occurred in your area/neighborhood yesterday. The burglary occurred at:
640 W. Peralta,
during the day while the homeowners were at work. A male suspect was located and arrested at a home in the neighborhood. It appeared the suspect was staying with a couple who was trying to help him get on his feet since he did not have a home. The couple had no idea he was involved in criminal activity. Most of the victim's property was recovered inside the home the suspect was staying at.''
