Back in 1999 when this neighborhood website was started - most of you know that if something is placed on here anonymously - it will be removed. That subject has not been addressed for quite some time now.

Sometimes it seems that the person who is placing the information or question just mistakenly forgot to put their name - that happens.

But if you honestly have a complaint, a question or are just posting information - please be courteous to others reading our website and sign your name - at least your first name.

You make a very good point

Couldn't agree more. Permitting anonymous posting makes it much easier for someone to lose all sense of accountability an 'flame' others. Additionally, if you have an problem with something, how can your neighbors help alleviate your concerns if
1- They have no clue who YOU are
or
2- They have no clue who THEY are, because they don't know who YOU are.
and
3- How can they / we get clarification on your concerns if we can't talk to you?
4- How do we know you even live in this neighborhood? (see below)

Anonymous: Google returns about 191,000,000 results for ''Anonymous'' in less than a second. Sure are a lot of you out there. How are we to know which one you are? (http://www.google.com/search?q=Anonymous)

Alma, I sure would like to know if it was one of my neighbor's who had this problem with me. Please, everyone, post your name. It is quite dishonest to not have your name attached to a posting.
