The 900 block of west Obispo Ave. has recently experienced criminal activity. The tailgate of a pickup truck was recently stolen off of a vehicle parked in the owners driveway. Additionally, two nights ago (Thursday evening/Friday morning), an attempt was made to steal a vehicle from another persons driveway. A pry tool was used to unlock the doors and an attempt to start the vehicle was made. Fortunately in this incident, the suspect/s were unsuccessful.
Lock your vehicles, alarm them (if available), or place an anti-theft locking device on the steering wheel.
