Marlborough Mesa

Our 2001 Ford F250 Crew Cab was stolen out of our drive way on Sunday night maybe early Monday morning on Feb 28th. At the corner of Emerson and Plata.This is the second truck that we have had stolen in less than a year. Our house is on the corner and seems like a target. Alarm was set and the truck was locked. We also have a sensor light on our garage but that didn't stop them. This is very frustrating since we just moved in about a year and a half ago and last year this happened. I always comment to friends and family what a great neighborhod this is, but now I have concerns about theft and the safety of our home. Sorry I had to vent!

They love those trucks!

Unfortunately we have more trucks or SUV's stolen than cars. This may be for parts, hauling illegals, etc. - but those are statistics. Your Ford truck is one that they seem to go after.

You are on a corner, as we are - thus making your vehicles an even easier target. This neighborhood is close to the freeway with easy access to and from.

We hope to never hear of this happening to you again. 2 times in a lifetime is 2 too many!

we are in the top 10 for theft

I am sorry to hear about your truck being stolen. Unfortunately, according to National Insurance Crime Bureau, the phoenix-mesa area is in the top 10 for auto theft in the whole USA.
