Marlborough Mesa

We hope this message will get across our neighborhood. We have very loud neighbors behind us on Plata. Last evening we could hear their music very clear as well as some of their conversation in a house that is sealed and the air conditioning running. This is not the first time it has happened. One of the partiers has a very vulgur mouth and we have had about enough of it. We called Mesa Police and they said that they could not respond unless two complaints were called in or if we wanted an officer to contact us. It was late in the evening and we wanted to go to bed. Next time, an officer can contact me and we will say come to our family room and listen. I had to turn my T.V. up to hear it. I have daughters that were trying to sleep. We woke up this morning 8/15 and our house/car were egged. We wonder who it was since the partiers did finally shut down around midnight. Is it only us that complains about this type of behaviour. What kind of neighbors do we have?????

You are not alone

Apparently there are more ''loud noises'' with parties and such in the 800 Block of Pecos. They, too, are having some major problems and have also called the police several times.

Neighbors surrounding the ''offensive'' home have decided to address their issues to the homeowners as well as to the renters themselves by way of a letter. They are not willing to sucumb to those who wish to disturb our peaceful, family-oriented neighborhood. Perhaps this could work there as well.
