Marlborough Mesa

Considering the important issues of the day, I am forced to alert the neighborhood to a certain person or persons who have stolen 2 political yard signs from my yard. At first blush, it?’s simply a childish prank. But like any theft, it does have consequences including the value/cost of the stolen property and the dishonest character of the people involved. Since the signs are politically oriented, it appears obvious that the person or persons involved support the conservative religious right and proudly continue the legacy of the Bush campaign by breaking the law- once again. Until the Bush administration outlaws our first amendment rights, I will continue to display political signs of my choosing on my property. The City of Mesa Police Department has been notified and the thefts have been documented should the thieves be apprehended. Please let me know if you have any information about the thefts.

Unless you know something I don't, I guess I would sum up my assessment to a piece of Marlborough reality? Let me see now, I live in an ultra conservative community that is historically recognized for a faith based majority/minority that is considered a right wing political segment of our community. If you are suggesting that the thefts are not politically motivated you must live in Tempe? Imagine a street in Marlborough Mesa where on one side of the street is a political yard sign supporting one political party candidate and on the other side of the street is another yard sign that supports the other political candidate? Although, I can confirm that we do not live in Perfect, USA... yard signs for one political candidate remain untouched in the yard across the street while 2 of my yard signs go missing, one after another. Obviously, my brush is rather narrow!
