I emailed this to Alma and she suggested putting it up here:

We live on Emerson. There was an incident the other night on the street perpendicular to our house (Osage). I don't know too many details, but I went outside to throw away some trash (I can't remember which night) and saw a man in his 40's running on the sidewalk along Osage and turn left onto Emerson. He ran down to the next street to the South and turned left. Just after that, another man came running down Osage. It appeared he was looking for someone. I told him that I had just seen someone running around the corner of the next street to the South. He described him exactly and said that it was his neighbor. He said that there was someone walking along and jumping over backyard fences and they were trying to catch whoever it was. Their houses are on the South side of Osage and most likely back up to the cul-de-sac on the other street. I believe the men live in the 4th and 5th houses East of Emerson on the South side of Osage.

I wish I had more details. One thing we've always liked about this
neighborhood is the lack of alleyways which tend to lead to backyard
vandals. We have two Rottweilers and both of our neighbors have dogs as
well - but I wonder about those that have no dogs. Hopefully this is an
isolated incident.

I don't know if any of the neighbors reported it, but I believe they got in
their vehicles and went driving around the next street, etc. looking for the
person. If you know any of the people on Osage - they might have more solid
info.
