This is the message sent to everyone who is on the Neighborhood Email Group:
Hello Marlborough Residents,
We are asking for you help tonight.
Last Friday Morning, Jan. 24th, a mailbox theft in progress was caught in
action on a video camera. (Some of you may have seen this story aired on
Channel 15 Saturday night.) We have 2 good photos of the unmistakable dark
colored truck and a blond female with a ponytail (who is not so recognizable
from these pictures). The truck drove upon the sidewalk and the lady leaned
out, stole the mail and they drove away. The lady whose mail was stolen put outgoing mail out at 8:30 am ... the thief stole it at 8:41 am. The entire crime took just 4 SECONDS!
The truck has a lot of custom features including:
CHROME grill
CHROME bumper guards (front and back)
CHROME wheels and fender guards.
The goal is:
1. To get these flyers into the hands of ALL of our neighbors in Marlborough
on every street ASAP.
2. To post some larger flyers in the adjoining neighborhoods at their main
entrances (E.W.N.& S.)
Our Newsletter Helpers have their hands full at the beginning of every month
delivering newsletters to your doorstep. Sooooo, we are asking ANYONE who has just a few moments tonight or tomorrow to please pick up enough for your block (or street) and deliver those to each home. (I have the number of flyers you will need here at home if you do not know for sure.)
