E-Streets AND New Feature on NL

Posted in: Marlborough Mesa
Marlborough Neighbors,

Two messages: ONE you have heard about and TWO is a message I received from Neighborhood Link.

______________

1. Some time age, I mentioned that Channel 11 was doing a video on Mesa?’s connectivity called ?“E-Streets?” and that it would feature, in part, streets and people of Marlborough Mesa. Although still not certain exactly when it will air, I have it on the best authority (Mark Ahn, their Production Coordinator) that it hopefully, will make it on the air either Thursday or Friday of this week. Time is uncertain.

AND

2. From NL:

?“In our ongoing effort to create valuable information and services on your neighborhood Web site, we are proud to announce the launch of Neighborhood Link's Personal Service Marketplace.

Within the next week, your neighborhood Web site will have a new hotlink called ''Personal Service Marketplace.'' It will be an online marketplace where you and your neighbors can find someone to help with odd jobs or earn extra cash by selling your services in your area. These services could be anything from baby-sitting, yard work, house cleaning, music lessons, computer repair and more.

Neighborhood Link has bought this service from the company that created it because many of you have asked for a feature like this. Initially, the service will be free, but at some point in the future (probably a few months) a small fee will be charged to those using the service. To learn more about how the Personal Service Marketplace will work, please visit the site: http://www.silentfrog.com/services/welcome.jsp?org_id=neighborhoodlink

We thank you for your continued support of Neighborhood Link. We very much appreciate your interest in our service. If you have questions, please contact us at: info@neighborhoodlink.com

Thank you,

Ted Pinkowitz

President, Neighborhood Link

Update

From Mark Ahn:

Hope you're not getting tired of my updates, but things change pretty
quickly here.

I spoke with our programming coordinator, and he said that the video should air Saturday and Sunday at 6pm. It will air thereafter based on a certain schedule. Please check out our programming guide later in the week (go to Marlborough Mesa homepage on NL & then to the City of Mesa site) to see
exactly when it will air after this weekend...if you miss it.
