I wanted to bring to your attention that there was a teenager sleeping on the slide in our park this morning. My husband took our son to the park yesterday and today and has seen this kid both times in the same clothes. It is not obvious if he is homeless or just a kid avoiding school but sleeping in our park is not appropriate as it kept my husband from feeling comfortable enough to let our child run and play. Unfortunately my husband had no cell phone on him to call authorities and we live quite a distance so I do not know if the kid is still there but if anybody knows this kid, I'd hope that he could be kept save at home or in school instead of roaming aimlessly. His description is: Hat, Rob Zombie t-shirt, very baggy jeans, combat boots, facial hair.

I will start checking the park in the mornings when I come in at 0600. I'll also let the night guys know so they can check the parks throughout the night. It sounds like this young man is either a runaway or homeless....but I'll try to track him down and let you know.
