Thank You, Jennifer, Two

I, too, would like to thank Jennifer for that invaluable information on Dog Poo Dangers. Likewise, Alma Jones, for her comments on Friendly Felines.

I live on a corner lot with grass in my front yard. I have neighors who walk their dogs both with and without the leash. The dogs walk onto the grass to ''use my facility'' and some neighors pick it up, while others just leave it there for me to scoop-it-up later. Unfortunately, when I'm home I look out of my Son's bedroom window and I've thank some folks for during their do diligent, i.e., picking up the dog poo. On the hand, for those who do not, I take a good look at their faces, and the next time I see them pass my house, I confront them very nicely and advise how I feel about what their dogs are going to my yard. So far, this has happen on one occasion and that individual apologize forthright. This same individual started to carry a plastic bag to scoop the poo up.

I'm so glad the City of Mesa has a city code, i.e., dog owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. Let's educate our neighbors and like C. R. stated ''Knowledge is power!'' I couldn't have said it any better.
Thank You!!

Jennifer-thanks for your article! We've stopped frequenting the park because the dog doo is such a problem. Other than posting a photographic ''wall of offenders''-my only suggestion is to install the dog doo bag dispenser at the park. I realize the problem applies to more than the park. As we walk our dogs, we step over other dogs offenses. We would be happy to work towards eliminating this problem!!
