Regarding white painted fence -

Posted in: Marlborough Mesa
To let the neighborhood know - regarding the posting about my white primered block wall fence that someone was concerned about. That message appeared approximately April 13 and has now been deleted due to and ''Anonymous'' signing. (It is my understand, postings that have no name are automatically deleted.)

I have been pondering since I was told of this posting why, if you had a problem, you could not come and just talk with us about it. At that time, I could have explained that my husband works 65 hours a week and only has so much time on his days off to do our projects.

He was going to finish the painting when, on March 30th, he was injured on the job and was off work for 2 weeks due to a knee injury.

This is why COMMUNICATION is so important - not only in our families - but with our neighbors. This creates no animosity.

We moved to MM in September of 2002 and have continually worked on our home -- starting with the inside and working outward. We take pride in our home and our neighborhood. That is WHY we purchased here - the neighborhood was well-maintained for the most part.

FYI: We are in the process of having our RV gate built which will complete that area. Please be patient with us in the interim.

We invite you to come and pay us a visit.

Signed,
The New Welcome Basket Lady

I Agree Completely

Michelle,
I am in complete agreement with your response to the cowardly anonymous posting about your wall. I live direcly across from it and had absolutely NO problem with the time it was taking to complete.
COMMUNICATION is vital people, let's get with the program & support our neighbors instead of slamming them.

Agree #2

Nice response.... I liked it.

I agree that working together on a problem is the way to go. If anyone needs help, I have two teens up here that are willing.

I saw the message from the person that didn't want to sign his/her name and wondered the same thing as to why he/she didn't address you directly. I think you and your husband are doing a wonderful job on your home and am sending you a belated and big welcome to our neighborhood.
