Today, Feb. 27, as I was coming home
from work, there were several news
helicopters flying right over Extension
and Guadalupe. According to our friends
who live on Extension, there were some
teens who starting fighting in the
Rancho del Mar neighborhood, they ended
up at the park there and some of them
were stabbed. One on the individuals
ended up holding himself hostage in a
vehicle. Mesa PD originally did not
release any information as this was occurring, but on a follow up call they told me that one individual was responsible and that he had been caught. We do not know if he lives at Rancho or not. Our young people need
to be aware of this, my son often
goes over there to shoot hoops, etc!
