If you were awakened or kept awake by a loud buzzing noise tonight AFTER midnight - here's the story.
It was coming from a huge white truck driving around the neighborhood with a large piece of machinery in its bed spraying chemicals into the air.
Several neighbors on Emerson and the adjoining street(s) popped their heads out of their doors to investigate and more than one neighbor hopped in a vehicle and approached the truck.
Turns out it was spraying for mosquitoes.
First I'd heard about it. Completely understandable with the number of pools in the neighborhood and the threat of West Nile, but you'd think there would have been some kind of notice...
Freaked a lot of us out.
