The City of Mesa announced today they will be hosting a community meet-and-greet for the public to meet the five police chief candidates later this month. The meeting is one of four planned sessions as part of the recruitment process announced in December to allow a broad range of interested individuals and parties the opportunity to interact with the candidates.
"This meeting is an important part of the selection process." City Manager Chris Brady said. "It provides a forum for our residents, business owners, and others to get to know these individuals on a more personal basis in an informal setting. The feedback collected will be relevant as we move forward."
