My name is Nicolas Katkevich and I am a Community Organizer with Working Families Win. We are working to build a grassroots movement here in Mesa and Tempe that focuses on economic justice issues (such as making sure that there are good paying jobs, help for people facing foreclosure, affordable education, etc.). Ms. Alma Jones was kind enough to invite to this discussion board and should informed me of what a great neighborhood this is.
I was hoping that indivduals would be able to briefly speak with me about some of the difficulties facing our communities right now. It would be great to learn from all of you.
