Parks & Rec Meeting May 12 to make our basin a park

Posted in: Marlborough Mesa

Wish there could have been more time to let you know this, but ...

This meeting is tomorrow, May 12 and as you can see begins at 3:30 pm. However, the discussion of our MM Park will be 5th on the Agenda so I am guessing it may be some time before they actually get to #5. If ANY of you can see your way clear to be present we will all benefit. We do need your support, as it will be more expensive for the City to maintain a Park as opposed to a basin if actually they decide to do so.

By making it a designated Park, it will receive more maintenance and hopefully, lighting. I don’t know if you have noticed but we currently we have NO lighting in our park basin. The lights are there, but they are not operating. Darkness is only an invitation for crime.

Below is the Agenda and we do hope to see some of you there.
