No, it is not. Rancho Del Mar is a neighborhood across Guadalupe and is bounded by Country Club and Extension.
And, I may be wrong but I only knew that there was a 24 year old woman killed. I understand that a child was in the home but did not know that anyone else was harmed.

Rancho del Mar is located between Extension and Country Club Dr. (north of Guadalupe Rd.) The incident seemed to be isolated to that home and a woman was shot and died from her injuries. Her grandfather was shot when he tried to intervene. As unfortunate as this incident was, a child was NOT killed.
By the way, this incident occured the same night we had the situation in our neighborhood. |
