Was going in and out our door this evening and noticed something out of place. I got snagged by a splinter on on front door. Closer examination leads us both to believe that a crowbar or knife was inserted from the outside and force used to try and open our front door while we were out. I'm thinking it happened today because we pay attention to little things like this. I think one of us would have noticed this or gotten snagged before if this happened on another day.
Any advice on whether or not to call police since they didn't succeed? Make a report at least maybe. Maybe they left our house and tried/succeeded somewhere else today. UGH.
