Hello Neighbors:
The DOBSON H.S. BOYS SOCCER Booster Club is hosting a GARAGE AND BAKE SALE this SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 9, from 6:30 am-2:00 pm at our home of 3117 S. WYCLIFF (facing the park w/ the Dobson soccer sign!)
They say that one man's junk is another man's treasure, so we welcome you to join us in our support of the Dobson Boys Soccer program by:
* Bringing your donated items and/or baked goods on Friday evening and/or
* Stopping by on Saturday morning to "find your treasure" while enjoying some baked goods with a cup of coffee or lemonade!
As our Dobson Varsity coach, Jason Berg, says, "our program has a winning record for the first time since the '07-'08 season, and put Dobson back on the map when it comes to soccer." To support and encourage their success, our Booster Club would like to utilize garage sale proceeds for:
* 2 new or gently used hoses and spray guns to replace the old ones for the boys annualcar wash fundraiser to raise funds for senior and banquet night, coaches gifts, etc.
* "Dri-fit" attire for the players
* Nets, balls and further fitness and training equipment
* Sponsorship to pay for each player to attend the Dobson HS Sports Banquet
* Sponsorship to host a professional trainer of the coaches' choice for a training session
* Sponsorship for the team to travel to a tournament out of town
Many of our rivals (i.e., Hamilton, Desert Vista, Gilbert & Corona del Sol) have strong booster club membership, and we seek to show our support for the Dobson team in our quest to retake the State Title!
