Hi, everyone.  We moved into MM in Nov 2012 and this is my first post.  I just want to say that we are thrilled to have moved here and be a part of this great community!   I want to publicly thank Jim and Alma for making us feel so welcome - like friends we've known forever.

Now that we have finally settled in, we are looking to do a few improvements around the house.

Do any of you know of a good, reputable, and reasonable guy/company to put sun screens on our south and west facing windows?  We are also looking to have someone put up a wrought iron door and enclosure for our front door walkway.  Or at least a set of double security doors.

Thanks for any leads and we hope to meet you all at some point or another!

Sorry to be so late to respond.  I obviously haven't been on the site in a while.  We are very satisfied with our sunscreens that we had installed by Ray Traylor of SunRay Blinds and Screens.  He's contracted with SRP for their rebate program which is a substantial savings.  Here's a link to his website http://www.sunrayblindsandscreens.com/

Tell him Donna Delpier referred you.  Welcome to our neighborhood!

Welcome to our neighborhood. I had Solar Sunscreen Designs do my sunscreens. I was very happy with them and the price was reasonable.  The # is 480/200/1273. Tell them Lainie Dufour on Obispo Ave. referred you..

Thanks, ladies.  It's too late for me to call either of those recommended.  I already have All Pro Shade Concepts coming out to install some sunscreens this week.  Hopefully they will do as good a job that your guys have done.

Have either of you really noticed a difference in interior heat gain and energy costs?
