Marlborough Mesa

I got these guys too. I just got a "no solicitors" sticker. These guys don't get the word "no".

A week or so ago there were 2 of them fitting the discription of this scam.  One asked if I knew any of my neighbors because the had already had winshield glass replaced.  He asked me when the last time I had gotten my winshield replaced, and when I responded he actually wandered into my garage to "inspect" my auto glass.  was politely asked to leave and the third time he was told to get the f... out of my garage which he finally did.

 

Now the worst part.  I had to take my grandaughter to the dentist.  When I arrived and got her to her appointment, I stopped and called Mesa PD.  All the danger bells ringing in my head, burglery alert,etc.  When the dispatch said they would send out a officer to talk to me I told them I was not at home, but could I please have a officer come out and check on these guys, the answer I got still astounds me.  The answer was that I was talking to a dial tone, they had hung up on me.

 

I currently live outside the boundries of MM, but will soon be back in again in May.

Perhaps a call to our mayor's office or to our neighborhood-friendly city councilman, Dennis Kavanaugh, is in order.  The response (or lack of) you received from Mesa PD is UNacceptable.  Did you get the name of the person/dispatcher you spoke to on the phone?
