Marlborough Mesa

I just learned today that Bob "Santa" Cingel passed away on May 2nd. I pray for the family, especially his wife Millie. I cannot imagine a Christmas without our dear Santa Bob. Millie kept his schedule and was very accommodating for our toy drive. I have so many wonderful memories of conversations I have had over the years with Bob and Millie. They are fabulous neighbors and have meant a lot to Marlborough Mesa. Bob will be truly missed. I am sure Millie, their children and grandchildren are still grieving over the loss of this wonderful man. My prayers are with you all.

I'm their "across the street" neighbor and was able to talk with Bob's daughter right after he passed. She said he had been in stage 4 since February and really didn't have a chance to suffer. He was pretty active until just before he died. You may be interested to know that Millie is now in a care facility as she is advancing in her diagnosis of Alzheimer's. Their granddaughter is living in their home now. We will surely miss the both of them and the genuine kindness and neighborly attitude they had.
