Palmer is really ?“springing into Spring?” this year with the addition of a community garden and new playground equipment. Contractors will install new play equipment this Summer for students in ECE-grade 1. Denver Urban Gardens came to Palmer on Saturday, April 21 with over 100 volunteers from Starbucks to build a community garden at the Southeast corner of our building. We will have another Community Build Day on Saturday, May 19 from 9:00-3:00 to put the finishing touches on the garden. We continue to seek funds to complete our project by adding grass to our playing field and by installing new play equipment for grades 2-5. Please call the school to volunteer on May 19 or for more information about our outdoor project.
