Mayfair in Tampa Palms

We hope that every one had a wonderful holiday and ready for a new year.

The holiday decorations this year for Mayfair were outstanding! This is the best our entrance has ever looked. We can thank Cass Malloy for our entrance and Club decorations! Also on that note Cass and Kim Johnson put together some great holiday programs! Several people for Mayfair went to the Holiday Ladies Night Ornament Exchange Party and had a great time.

Nov. 11th was The Taste of Mayfair. There was tons of food and fun and the weather was fantastic! We always make a point of asking District Two officers to come and have lunch as a token of our appreciation for what they do for us .We were honored to have Chief Hogue and his wife Charlotte, Captain Tom Wolff, Lisa Timmer and numerous uniformed officers. It was a chance for everyone to get together and ask question from either the police department or the board members. It's safe to say, ?“ A good time was had by all!?”

Congratulations to Christine Hopegood who is now the chairperson in charge of welcoming new neighbors. With her bubbly personality she's perfect for this job. If you know of anyone who has recently moved into the subdivision please call her at 910-3313 or e-mail her at: Christine@hopegood.com

The Tampa Palms North meeting was held Dec. 10th. Barbara Robinson retained her seat on the board and was elected president. Maureen Meyering was elected to the board. Last year's president Joe Caetano chose not to run for reelection. Joe will be missed but we understand that the City of Tampa needs him too.
