Hey neighbors ?– The last Friday of every month from 7PM ?– 9PM is Happy Hour at Club Tampa Palms! It?’s a great way to meet your neighbors both in Mayfair and the other TPN subdivisions. So mark your calendars! Cass and Kim are making sure that the Club has different actives for young and young at heart. (Please - 21 and older for the Happy Hour Event!)
Lisa Timmer with the Tampa Police asked that this information be passed along:
?“I wanted to pass along some phone numbers that you can pass along your email trees. It seems some communities are experiencing an increase of thefts related to Christmas decorations. It is important to get those incidents reported, and that can be done by calling our Delayed Crime Unit at 276-3205, wait for the prompt - then hit the #2 for District Two. I am told that number only works Monday - Friday, so if you discovered a theft over the weekend. Wait till Monday to call. That number can also be used for other thefts such as stolen vehicle tags, yard items, etc. or any report really that an officer's presence is not required.?”
In Dec. Mayfair?’s meeting sign was vandalized. Officers Joseph Perrone and Scott Bruce were quick to respond. They retrieve Mayfair?’s signs?’ letters that were washed into the storm drain before another rain came. Thanks Guys!!!
Christine Hopegood is in the process of updating the Mayfair directory. Each home was asked to update their information in an effort to help everyone know who there neighbors are and also contact information in case of an emergency. Contact Christine either by E-mail at Christine@hopegood.com or phone 910-3313 if you have questions.
We have an enterprising young man in Mayfair. 16-year-old Daniel Ferrer fixes and paints mailboxes; presser washes sidewalks, drives and lanais and now has another service he would like to offer our community - fixing computers. Daniel says, ?“I have recently been able to fix a couple old laptops that almost ended up in the trash. So if you happen to have a computer that you have given up on, and would me to take a look at it, just let me know. Also, if you know anybody that is interested in creating a website, and like what I have done with my dad's give them my e-mail. I'd be happy to work with them, and design a website to their liking. I also, advise them to which hosting company would be best for them. You can see the site I've been working on at the following address:?” http://www.internationalmedicaltransplants.com

Let's Keep Mayfair Beautiful! It seems as if there have been people disposing of trash, empty disposable plant containers and even in one case a microwave in the Teco and conservation areas. Cass Malloy had Raymow clean up these areas a few weeks ago. Should you see anyone dumping trash illegally in Mayfair report it to Cass immediately. The sad part is that people thought they were dumping into the Teco easement and conservation areas when actually in one case it was in someone's backyard!
A gentle reminder from our Neighborhood Watch: You have space if 4 vehicles on your property so please don?’t park on any grass and park appropriately so as not to interfere with sidewalks and mailboxes. Don't park on the street overnight. Our streets are so narrow that should emergency vehicles be needed for any reason it just makes it more difficult for the emergency vehicles to get through. Also, are you obeying the speed limit in Mayfair? Always remember someone's child or pet may depend on you being a safe driver!!
What do farmers give their wives on Valentine's Day?
Hog and kisses!
Have a GREAT Valentine?’s Day and remember:
Love is a dance. It takes patience and practice. Sometimes you get your toes stepped on. Often you?’ll get tangled in the moves. But if you work at it long enough to get the steps right one day you will waltz into the sunset with the one you love!!
