Mayfair in Tampa Palms

The Tampa Palms North Homeowners Association Meeting July 17

Last month I had asked for other members of Mayfair?’s community to go to the Tampa Palms North homeowners meetings. It seemed to me as if things were not being accomplished and I wanted others opinions. Six residents of Mayfair joined to me at the July 17th meeting and I have to say this was a totally different meeting from last month?’s. The board members were focused and on track. President Bill Bilkey opened the floor after the board meeting so that people who had questions were able to express themselves. Many of Mayfair?’s residents did just that. The questions were about the financial situation of the club, security and so forth. Bill did not adjourned meeting until all questions were answered.

TPN has been having regular meetings since the first of the year to try and solve some of the pressing problems of the Club. TPN Board is hopeful that after the
first of the year they will be able to go to quarterly meetings. Their goal is to have the Club running as a successful business. Right now they are in the process of hiring a competent Club Manager.

There are several projects underway now such as a new roof, security camera systems adjustments and other necessary repair and replacement issues. The best thing that we all can do is being patient while these changes are taking place.

Another thing we can do is to contact Susan Thomas when we see a problem. When problems are reported quickly we all benefit.
