Garden tips: For soft shell insects in the garden or on the lawn, instead of pesticides, try soap and water in a garden hose sprayer and wash the whole garden or yard. From MCNWA member, Kevin Geis.
Get well wishes go out to Rita Mounts who was recently injured from a fall at her home. We wish her a speedy recovery.
Security patrol volunteers are needed for the Meadowcliff Neighborhood Watch Association. We are still short-handed as several people have recently quit as patrol members. We need everyone?’s help. Only 30 minutes to 1 hour a month is necessary! Please call Jim Nebgen at 681-3489 for more information.
Warning stickers for Meadowcliff Watch Association members are available and may be picked up at the association meetings or by calling Kevin Geis at 681-6528. They should be placed on doors or windows warning that suspicious behavior will be reported to the police.

VOLUNTEER NEEDED TO TAKE OVER NEWSLETTER EDITORS POSITION: I will be resigning in October when we elect new officers for the coming year, as I have been doing the newsletter since the Meadowcliff Assoc. was founded several years ago. I have enjoyed working on the newsletter, but my husband and I will be doing a lot more traveling in the coming year. The newsletter takes a couple of hours at the most to prepare once you get all the information together from difference sources. It is put out 7 times a year and a computer would be helpful.
