Neighborhood Watch Sign Update

Donation of poles

Flintco, the construction company borrowing a portion of McMecham Park, has donated 14 poles for our watch signs!

Proposed locations

14 locations:
1000 blk of NE 20, 19, 18, 17, and 16th (east side of Kelley)
1200 blk of NE 20, 19, 18, 17, and 16th (west side of Lottie)
2200 blk of Glen Ellyn and Everest (by Glen Ellyn Park, off of NE 23rd) 800 and 900 blk of East Drive (one west of Kelley, the other at the intersection of Phillips and East/Culbertson)

These locations target the entrances to areas of our neighborhood that have the highest crime incidents

Volunteers needed

We are currently working on installing the signs. Last weekend, half were installed at the Lottie Avenue intersections and at Glen Ellyn Park. In the coming weeks, we will install the remaining signs at the Kelley Avenue intersections and on East Drive. A big thank you to Cortez, Jerry and Ben for installing the poles and signs!
