Graffti Wipeout a BIG success

Jun 29, 2004

On Sat June 26th several members of the association joined 100's of other citizens in San Antonio 2nd annual Graffti Wipeout. It was a big success, we painted over graffti in several areas in our community. Special Thanks to Richard Garcia, he's son Matthew and San Antonio Police Officer Serna who helped. The city provided all the paint and rollers and we provided the elbow . I liked to Thank Haydee Delgado for cancelling another enagement to help us as well. We have kept graffti to a low in our community . Please report all taggers to police don't let them destroy our neighborhood. Elections for new officers will be held on October 2004 if you or you know of someone that wants to become active in improving our neighborhood and can put some time please come to our August meeting it will be at the Memorial Library at 7pm August 4th . We have done alot in our community . The only requirement is Caring for your community and you must carry the office according to it's by-laws. This is a non-profit organization so we cannot endorse any politicans or politico parties. A copy of the by-laws is available for review upon request. We have a duty to make certain our children live in a safe clean neighborhood. Let's get all the oportunitys that the city has to offer. Don't let those oportunitys go to the Northside we deserve them as well. Don't forget Voting makes politicans listen to us. Regestry to VOTE.
