Every year, the Blenman-Elm neighborhood holds a Household Hazardous Waste collection day. This is a great opportunity for neighbors to dispose of materials we all want to keep out of our landfills, such as paint and chemicals. This year, that collection will
be held on:
Saturday, April 18th
8:00AM - Noon
Himmel Park, North Parking lot (Near First Street and Tucson Boulevard)
The Blenman-Elm neighborhood would like to extend its services to the
broader community, but to do this, they need your help.
Volunteers are needed to work two-hour shifts, assisting in unloading
materials during the drop off period. If you would like to work with a
terrific group of people and help our community, please contact Alice
Roe by April 11th, at 795-7310 or email her at alicer@dakotacom.net For a list of materials that can be recycled, please see below. Thank
you for helping us with this valuable service.
