Misty Vale Farm has signed on with our lawn maintenance service for another year of treatments. They are slated to spray the trees for insects, trim the trees, mulch the beds and treat the grass for weeds. This season they will mow the common areas weekly -- a noticeable improvement -- particularly at the entrance and playground. In the event of a drought this summer, they will substitute the grass cutting for tree/shrub watering (as permitted by the state in drought conditions.) In addition, they will continue to maintain the grassy berm area off Bayview Road in front of the first Misty Vale section, and they have also replaced many shrubs. The state is responsible for upkeep of this ground; however, their maintenance has not been as timely and thorough as we feel necessary to keep Misty Vale Farm looking manicured, so we will help out.
