It's been a great year!

Montavilla has had a great spring and a great year! We have had good meetings, newsletters, a tree planting, our Spring Clean Up, and a Christmas Party. In May, we held elections for the MNA Board. Our new Welcome Wagon program will begin in June, neighborhood banners have been printed and are ready to be displayed, and our networking with the community remained active. In addition, Montavilla business Beets Autobody received the Crime Prevention Association of Oregon?’s Commercial Crime Prevention Award 2000 for its public campaign against drunk driving.

Something else on the schedule for June is the introduction of the "Adopt a Cop" program. We plan to adopt those Portland Police Officers who keep us informed at our monthly meetings, thanking them for their service to our organization.
At our next meeting on Monday, June 12, we will begin planning more activities and projects for the summer and the year. Come join us!
