Serve Rhode Island (SRI) is Rhode Island's center for volunteer service located at 655 Broad Street in Providence.  It is the Rhode Island Commission for National and Community Service (which administers nine federal AmeriCorps programs in RI) and what was the Volunteer Center of Rhode Island (which has connected volunteers to opportunities for more that 40 years) merged into one organization.  SRI is dedicated to the promotion and facilitation of volunteer service throughout the state, working in collaboration with all non-profit organizations, state and local government agencies, and employer and faith-based volunteer programs.
