November is National Caregivers Month

National Family Caregivers Month:



The National Family Caregivers Association is proud to celebrate YOU, our community of family caregivers along with the other 50 million people caring for loved ones with chronic illnesses, disabilities or the frailties of old age. Did you know that together we provide 80 percent of all of the long term care in this country and that our combined services represent an estimated $306 billion dollars in “free” caregiving services? Today, as we kick off NFC Month, please stop what you are doing and take a moment to think about yourself. Think about all of the caregiving you have done for your loved one – everything from those doing 24/7 daily tasks to the long distance caregivers calling in every day to monitor activities. On behalf of NFCA, we celebrate and thank ALL of you for all you do. And we are not alone in recognizing NFCA Month.
