The Center for Financial Services Innovation is inviting applicants to submit proposals to receive funding for "financial products, services or practices that are designed for low-income consumers and provide opportunities for saving and longer-term wealth creation. For 2004, CFSI has earmarked up to $500,000 and anticipates funding no more than 4-6 projects, with awards averaging $30,000-$150,000, in the form of grants and loans (revenue sharing arrangements may also be explored).
