COMMISSIONED POLL HIGHLIGHTS NEED FOR MORE EMERGENCY PLANNING FOR AND BY PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES: A new Harris Interactive survey commissioned by the National Organization on Disability (N.O.D.) found that only 44 percent of people with disabilities say they know whom to contact about emergency plans for their community. The new survey found a noteworthy improvement, however, in the workplace preparedness of people with disabilities who are employed.
