CITY RECEIVES GRANT FUNDING FOR SKERRITT HOUSE

The City of Englewood has received grant funding from the
Colorado Historical Fund to assess the physical condition of the historic Skerritt House. The City purchased the property in March, 1999 to help preserve Englewood?’s historic heritage for future generations. The $9,965.00 grant is the first step toward restoring the house
and will help determine what work will be necessary to rehabilitate the house according standards and guidelines of the Secretary of the Interior and the Colorado Historical Society.
