Englewood Schools' annual Art Show at the Library has become a popular tradition. Student art in a variety of mediums will be on display during the entire month of March.

A call for artists
The City of Englewood, in partnership with Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., is issuing a call for entries for art to adorn a 45 foot long "Art Wall at Wal-Mart." The are wall will border the western edge of the 134,000 square foot store at CityCenter Englewood, and will provide an opportunity for a Colorado artist to created one of the area's foremost pieces of public art.
Wal-Mart and the City of Englewood have pooled their resources and set aside $100,000 that will cover all costs relating to the design, fabrication, permitting, and installation of the project. The Art Wall at Wal-Mart Task Force will accept applications through April 14, 2000.
