Mrs. Emma Goldsboro was honored by City Council in April on the occasion of her 107th birthday. Mrs. Goldsboro has been an active member of the Englewood community since 1918. In recent years, she has contributed to the community as a volunteer at the Malley Senior Recreation Center, where she is the oldest member, and assisted with the Volunteers of America lunch program for many years. Mrs. Goldsboro made her modeling debut in 1995 on the cover of the Spring Malley Senior Recreation Center Activities Guide, and has developed a reputation for her skill at card games. We wish to join City Council in congratulating Mrs. Goldsboro on her 107th birthday, as she prepares to watch her second turn of the century.
