Fireworks are Illegal.
The Department of Safety Services reminds residents that fireworks are illegal in Englewood. It is unlawful to possess, store, sell, use, or explode any fireworks (including roman candles, firecrackers, sparklers, fountains, etc.) in the City of Engelwood without a permit from the Fire Chief.
Fireworks are Dangerous
Each year, fireworks cause many deaths, thousands of injuries--most of them to children, and tens of millions of dollars worth of property damage.
Leave it to the Professionals
Plan to attend the Fourth of July Family Festival and Fireworks, which boasts an outstanding fireworks display.
