Here are two opportunities to voice opinions on issues that affect us all.
The City is particularly interested in having representation from our neighborhood for the sign committee. We'd also be great on the garbage collection services committee--we have registered problems and won contests, as well as having a variety of people (families, singles, seniors,...). Contact numbers are listed for each committee.
I was wondering whether anyone in your neighborhood association would be interested in participating on a Sign Code Task Force reviewing current city ordinance on prohibited signs in the right of way and temporary signs. I chose your neighborhood since it seems to be in areas where a lot of these types of signs are displayed and cause an impact. I would like to get a meeting together in about two weeks so if you could find a volunteer I would be greatful. Call Cindy Peterson 735-8873, ext 8333 to volunteer.
