PHX 11, the city?’s award-winning news and information station, will host ?“Phoenix: Working for You?” focusing on police from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 27.
This is the second in a series of live shows in which residents can call in and ask questions about city programs and services. Mayor Phil Gordon, Police Chief Jack Harris and police officers will be interviewed as part of the program, while other officers take calls and answer questions from viewers.
The show will cover several topics including Community Action Officers, Block Watch summits, 9-1-1 operations, the dangers of distracted driving, car theft and a stolen car dramatization. Viewers are encouraged to call the studio at 602-262-4061 with questions related to show topics and other public safety issues.
More than 300,000 households in Phoenix and other Valley communities can watch PHX 11 on Cox or Qwest cable. Programming also is broadcast live on the Web at phoenix.gov/streaming.
